How it all started…
To tell you the honest truth, when I graduated from highschool, I had no intentions of ever becoming a photographer (it honestly was never even a thought). In fact, I was going to university to be a teacher or a social worker – I knew I wanted to work in one of these fields I just hadn’t decided which one yet. So I set off for university after working fulltime for a couple of years. I took a year and a half of university and then decided to move back home to Weyburn and start a life with my then boyfriend (now husband).
In 2008 I got married and in 2009 I had my first child. I decided to get a good camera before my first child was born because when I looked back on my own childhood I noticed I had hardly any pictures growing up and I wanted to have nice pictures of my own child that they could look back on in 20 or 50 years.
At first, taking pictures really just kind of started as a hobby for me.. Finally, I decided that I would transform my photography into a business.
Fast forward 5 years and I am now a proud wife to an amazing husband and a mama to 3 beautiful little girls. I’m so privileged to have turned my hobby into a career. I have been blessed with so many amazing opportunities and have met so many amazing people along the way. I can’t wait to see what the future has in store.
